10. three large 18 wheeler trucks on the side of the road with 'DANGER extra extra wide load' written across the container that was as wide as the truck was long! good times.

7. when playing "would you rather" judes says, "would you rather be a big boneless bob creature that walks around moaning, or yourself?"

6. jude was at a soccer game yesterday. he was listening to the people behind him discussing the score in lugandan. he then corrected them in lugandan. puts my language efforts to shame- oh to have the brain of a seven year old again.
5. rosie now calling us 'mom!' and 'dad!' and saying so many more english words each day
4. zoe now going to bed after we do
3. after reading the bedtime story 'the giving tree' i asked the boys if the tree reminded them of anything. jude said, 'i think the tree is kind of like God- because he would give away his apples, and he's long and skinny- well, when he wants to be.'
2. zoe saying, 'now you have a stomach ache? yesterday you had a headache? PA-THETIC - really mom- PA-THETIC.'
1. jude saying, 'mommy, i really need to take a shower.'
me- why?
jude, ' i can't even REMEMBER the last time you washed my hair!'
me- you're right, neither can i.
