on saturday we went to jinja- on the banks of lake victoria at the source of the nile river. it's about a 50 kilometer drive each way. on the way there we saw an over turned truck and on the way home - watched a motorcycle accident. nice. but here are our photos.
little roadside restaurants.
jerry cans to be filled.
laundry drying beside bougainvillea.
they waited patiently for lunch (ha!) while reading dutch teen magazines from 2006.
this guy was so hungry he was almost crying- but not hungry enough to eat his burger because there were 'spices' in it.
bryn with his "fantum orange"
the restaurant was definitely on african time- the kids were a little stir crazy.
at the much anticipated Kingfisher pool- it was cold and cloudy, but that didn't stop them from swimming.
zoe chatting it up with the locals.
a kiss and some african tea- that is a good day.
