goodness

in a few weeks i will turn 41.  yikes. 
i've been thinking back over this past year- the first in my 5th decade. yikes.
but.  here i am in east africa. 

exactly where i want to be.
where cows cross the highway.

and for that i'm so very thankful.
not everyone can say that.

and i have babies that i love, even if they are no longer babies.

and i have a husband that i love, even after 22 years.

and i have friends and family that i love, ones near and ones far, that help me to be happy. to be thankful.  to remember all these things.

and i have a God that i love and who loves me, even though i'm far from perfect.

i've also got a bathtub. 
and some kickin' rain boots.

what more is there?
