Congratulations! It really IS your day!
Hey Kris - i'm writing from NZ .. one of Jonathons cousins 3rd i think! i visited Boston many years ago when jonathon was about 16 i think - Lindy - part of the woodfield clan. Anyhow - mum had mentioned your blog and i read it online today - i was thinking uganda this morning because one of my sponsor children from many years ago - a beautiful ugandan girl called Wanyana - found me on facebook all these years later! i would love to give her a link to you:) she is working wth scripture union and has her degree. it's awesome. my son was in uganda this time last year so a bit sad i didn't have contact with her then and you guys weren't there! anyhow i would love to stay in the loop with what you guys are up to. i am a teacher and i understand all the problems associated with homeschooling your own children - i did it for a while! it's difficult with normal kids let alone learning difficulties - so my hat off to you. i would love to be as methodical in diagnosing what's happening in my life but i seem to rarely get time in the business of the teaching life. i just happen to be home today because a had a big fall yesterday! nice to have time to reflect even if one can't move easily!!! Anyway all the best to you and yours. Give Michael a hug from me. it was lovely seeing dolly and malcolm recently here. have heard lots about you so hope to meet you one day - all the best with your challenges - remember you can only do so much each day :)
lindy! so good to hear from you! mike sends his love! hoping to meet you as well someday either here or there! best, kris
